The Sonarcloud App asks for different types of permissions in order to improve the overall experience. This article covers which permissions you may be asked for and the purpose of granting these permissions

Location Permissions

We use location information in order to determine how our users make announcements and where. We use this information to make the App experience better for you and all App users. You can deny this permission without affecting the usage of the App.

Please note that Sonarcloud does not give your location information to any third party.

Notification Permissions

Notifications are a pretty good thing to allow the App to have. Most importantly, when communicating through the App with our tech support team, you will receive notifications even when the App is closed of a reply. Also, we also alert you about changing in the status of your Sonarcloud on-site device. You may turn these off and the App will function normally, but you will not be able to receive any of these alerts.

Microphone Permissions

These are essential permissions for the App. Sonarcloud uses your device microphone to record announcements to play over the PA System. Recording on device only occurs as indicated. The Sonarcloud App does not record initiate any recording processes unless first activated by you. Also, Sonarcloud does not give any audio data out to third parties.
